Backed by industry experts, the program which runs through October 4th ‘til December 10th aims to train software and design engineers needed by the gaming industry,
The program is divided into design and software. Students need to select the field they want to specialize upfront. Classrooms are limited to fifteen people and the course will last for fifty hours (six weeks) on weekends.
The participation fee for the Digital Game Development Certificate Program, which was held for the fourth time, was announced as 2,250 TRY (595 USD). Anyone with at least high school education and 18 years of age can apply.
The lessons will be given by TED University Faculty of Computer Engineering professors, and experts from Turkish Game Developers Association (TOGED)’s member companies.
Experienced participants will have priority
The lessons of the design program will focus on 3D modeling and animation, game design and game graphics. Those with experience with at least one modeling or animation software will be given priority.
Instructors are as follows: Simsoft model team captain Gökçe Gökmen, TaleWorlds sound design specialist Uğurcan Orçun, TaleWorlds game designer Ozan Gümüş, Marmara University Assist. Assoc. Mete Tevetoğlu, Founder of SNG Informatics Özgür Alan and Assist. Assoc. Gizem Kayar from TED University.
Participants in the software program will be trained in game programming, graphics programming, mobile game development, game engines and human-computer interaction. Those familiar with any programming language will also be given priority.

Assoc. at Marmara University, SNG Informatics Founder Özgür Alan and Gökçe Gökmen from Simsoft.
Participants will develop a game as a finishing project at the end of their terms.
