Turkey climbs 10 ranks in 2020 Doing Business Report

World Bank's 2020 Doing Business Report is released. Increasing the level of ease of doing business every year, Turkey climbed 10 ranks in this year's report.

World Bank’s 2020 Doing Business report is published. This document covers the 12-month period ending on 1 May 2019. In this edition of the report reviews legislation about doing business in 190 economies based on 10 criteria. The 17th edition of the annual report evaluates regulations that increase or restrict commercial activity for small and medium-sized enterprises.

While Turkey climbed 10 ranks in this year’s and moved up to 33rd place,  top 10 countries with the highest scores are as follows: New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Denmark, Republic of Korea, The United States, Georgia, England, Norway and Sweden. Turkey was 69th in 2017, 60th in 2018 and then 43rd in 2019.
